My Weekend At Coachella

I will admit, when I decided to go to Coachella this year I was really dreading being around all of the pretentious LA people who dress perfect and have a million followers on Instagram. I'm a music lover so I kind of rolled my eyes at a music fest you have to dress super cute for.

Anyway, my fiancĂ© was playing both weekends so I decided to fly out for the first weekend to see him play and take in the experience. We had an interesting first day getting there because we flew into Las Vegas on Thursday, stayed up really late and left to drive to Palm Springs, CA (about 4 hours) at 5 in the morning. I don't sleep well in cars so basically was going on no sleep. After we finally arrived in the dessert and got to the festival I realized just how freaking cool it was. Literally I was at the festival for 15 minutes and saw Justin Bieber. You know when your day starts out like that it's going to be a good weekend.
That night we explored the grounds and saw so many celebrities and I tried not to freak out. I'm used to seeing musicians all of the time but not models like Kaia Gerber and Hailey Baldwin. It was pretty neat!  We also saw SZA that night who headlined the main stage. She was amazing and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were watching right next to us (I'm sorry I love Keep Up With The Kardashians). After an exhausting day we finally headed back to our hotel room to prepare for day 2.

Day 2 was of course queen BEY day. We ended up getting to the festival later in the day because we went to a pool party during the day at some random hotel.

There weren't many artists I wanted to see on this day so we spend a lot of the day exploring and taking photos. Now I know why everyone has the cutest photos and it's because there's so many cute little spots in places where the sunsets are unreal. The golden hour here is a photographers dream, this is when the picture up top was taken. We ended this day by eat vegan ice cream and watching Beyonce which was a shit show but definitely worth it. She killed it and to hear everyone talking about it the next day on social media and knowing that you were there was pretty cool.

The last day I was determined to have a good spot to see one of my favorite artists right now... Cardi B! She was playing in the afternoon so I made it a point to get to the main stage 30 minutes before she played so I could get a good spot. She absolutely killed it and was one of my favorite performers of the weekend aside from Beyonce. All in all, we saw Beyonce, Cardi B, Post Malone, Migos, Russ, SZA, Hayley Kiyoko, Miguel, Portugal. The Man, Cash Cash and so many more that I can't even remember. It was an amazing weekend. So chill and exciting at the same time. I would definitely go back.

And of course we ended the weekend by getting In & Out because you can't leave the West Coast without the best burgers in the world.
